Licensed Acupuncturist

I am a licensed to practice acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in the state of California which is governed by the California Department of Consumer Affairs.  This means that I have met the strict requirements defined by the California Acupuncture Board that allow me to practice acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, including:  electroacupuncture, Tui Na (therapeutic massage), acupressure, moxibustion, cupping, breathing techniques, exercise, heating and cold therapies, magnets, nutrition, dietary advice, the prescription of medicinal herbs including: plant, animal, and mineral products, to help promote, maintain, and restore health pursuant to Business & Professions Code Section 4937., for more information please click onto  the following link https://www.acupuncture.ca.gov/consumers/index.shtml

Diplomate of Oriental Medicine

In addition, I am a Diplomate of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (Dip. AOM); which is to say that I am certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM®) and have met the certification requirements for both acupuncture and Chinese herbology.  It is a considerable professional achievement to earn the designation Diplomate of Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM®). (NCCAOM®)certification indicates to employers, patients, and peers that one has met national standards for the safe and competent practice of acupuncture and Chinese herbology as defined by the acupuncture and Oriental medicine (AOM) profession.
